The Ten Words. Where have they been delivered to and for how long?

 

Exodus 24:12

"And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them."

Nehemiah 9:13

"Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:"

Numbers 15:15 and 23

"One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord. Even all that the Lord hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the Lord commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations;"

For how many generations did the Lord ask men for putting them into practice?

Psalms 105:8

"He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations."

Deuteronomy 7:9

"Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;"

Deuteronomy 4:2

"Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you."

Psalms 148:6

"He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass."

Luke 16:17

"And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail."

What Law does the Lord Jesus-Christ refer to?

Romans 7:12

"Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good."

1st Timothy 6:14

"That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:"

James 1:25

"But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed."

Romans 2:13

"(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified."

2nd Peter 3:16 (clarification)

"As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction."

Revelation 22:14

" Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."

Proverbs 19:16.

"He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die."
