Frepap: Politics in the Congregation of Israel

The Agricultural People's Front of Peru (Frente Popular Agrícola del Perú, or FREPAP) is a political party in Peru. At the legislative elections of 8 April 2001, the party won 1.7 % of the popular vote and no seats in the Congress of the Republic. At the legislative elections held on 9 April 2006, the party won less than 1% of the popular vote and no seats in Congress.

The party was founded by Ezequiel Ataucusi Gamonal, a prophet and teacher for the members of AEMINPU "Asociación Evangélica de la Misión Israelita del Nuevo Pacto Universal". The Evangelical Association of the Israelite Mission of the New Universal Covenant.

Founded in 1968, AEMINPU has established itself in many South American countries and in some other countries around the world. A strict adherence to the Royal Law, the Ten Commandments and in particular the seventh-day Sabbath, separation from the "world" by forming large communities in the jungle areas of Peru, under a movement called "Fronteras Vivas" leading Israelites back to farming and living off the land to earn food security for the final times.

After twenty years, in the parliamentary elections of 2020, according to the quick count carried out by the Ipsos company, the party would have obtained 8.9% of the popular vote, for which it would have nearly 16 seats in the new Peruvian Congress for the culmination of the parliamentary period 2020-2021, in view of the new general elections. AEMINPU and FREPAP are making progress and it was a miracle what they demonstrated in the last elections.
