The Holly Psalm

 

"This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise." Isaiah 43:21.

 

As it was announced:

 

 

                                                                      "For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue                                                                             shall confess to God." Romans 14:11.

                                                                      And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written:

                                                                      "... For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy                                                                                                 name." Romans.15:9,10.

                                                                      What will our lips sing?

                                                                      By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of                                                                           our lips giving thanks to his name." Hebrews 13:15.

                                                                      Since the Holly Scripture tells:

                                                                      "Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands." Isaiah 42:12. 
 

"Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof." Isaiah 42:10. 

"And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD." Amos 4:5.

What is to praise?
 
"While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being." Psalm 146:2.

"Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee." Psalm 118:28.

 

THE HOLLY PRAISE

 

Psalm 113

Praise ye Jehovah.
Praise, O ye servants of Jehovah,
praise the name Jehovah.
Blessed be the name of Jehovah
from this time forth and for evermore.

// He maketh the barren woman to keep house,
and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye Jehovah.// (bis)

//From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same
Jehovah's name is to be praised.
Jehovah is high above all nations,
and his glory above the heavens.//

//Who is like unto Jehovah our God, who dwelleth on high,
Who humbleth himself to behold the things
that are in heaven, and in the earth!//

//He raiseth up the poor out of the dust,
and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
That he may set him with princes,
even with the princes of his people.//

Psalm 126

//When Jehovah turned again the captivity of Zion,
we were like them that dream.
Then was our mouth filled with laughter,
and our tongue with singing://

Psalm 126:3

Jehovah hath done great things for us;

Psalm 129

//Many a time have they afflicted me
from my youth,
may Israel now say:

yet they have not prevailed against me.//

Psalm 106:47,48

Psalm 117
