Those who do not follow the commandments are cursed

Galatians 3:10

"For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them."

1st John 2:4 

"He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

GOD set before men two ways: the way of life and the way of death.

Jeremiah 21:8

"And unto this people thou shalt say, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death."

Men’s steps do not depend on themselves but on God’s will. 

Ecclesiastes 9:12

"For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so [are] the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them."

Proverbs 27:1

"Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth."
