THE BIRTH OF JESUS: DURING THE FIRST MONTH OF THE YEAR

Nacimiento Jesus.jpg

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:18,21.

And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. Luke 1:26,36.

And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. Luke 2:21.

(As it is written in the law of the LORD, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;) And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons. Luke 2:23,24.

And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed. Genesis 17:12.

Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the Passover. Luke 2:41.

In the first month, in the fourteenth day of the month, ye shall have the Passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten. Ezekiel 45:21.

This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. This day came ye out in the month Abib. Exodus 12:2 and 13:4.

In conclusion: Jesus was circumcised on Saturday, April 14 (John 7:22) and whether the child had to be circumcised at 8 days old:

So we subtract 14 – 8 = 6;
this means that Jesus was born on April the sixth (6).
