Prophetic advise: Look for the old paths

Jeremiah 6:16

"Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk [therein. ]"

Who should we ask to?

Deuteronomy 32:7

"Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee."

Who is our Father?

Genesis 49:2

"Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father."

Why should we ask to him?

Galatians 6:6

"Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good  things."

Why is he our teacher?

Isaiah 41:27

"The first [shall say] to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings."
