The Lord’s Kingdom

 

In order to establish a Kingdom, four foundations are necessary:

​

A king is required

Daniel 11:3

"And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will."

​

What’s the name of such a King?

Isaiah 43:15

"I am the Lord, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King."

2nd Chronicles 9:8

"Blessed be the Lord thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the Lord thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice."

Isaiah 49:6

"And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth."

2) This King should have a Law

Galatians 3:19

"Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator."

​

What’s the name of this Mediator?

1st Timothy 2:5

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"

​

What’s the Law this Mediator should bring?

James 2:8

"If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:"

​

How many Words does the Real Law have?

Deuteronomy 4:13

"And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone."

3) People or inhabitants are needed

Psalms 49:1,2

"Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: Both low and high, rich and poor, together."

Ezekiel 18:4

"Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die."

4) A territory is also needed

Ezra 7:13

"I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and of his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee."
